Many stories are engrained in our primal knowledge. The fable creates a parallel experience with other living character’s habits, form and spirit relating to humans.
These stories are fragments of a vision of our subconscious, perhaps collective memory. The paintings do not follow a sequential portrayal of a story. Each picture has different characters, just as each person has different visual interpretations. The paintings are impressions of the fable – a moment without words.
Both words and painting appear colorful, sensual and erotic. The utilization of the nude expresses my continuing passion for human form and participation in the story.
